This week, Achdus News asked local personal trainer Yisrael Marder about a common mindset many people struggle with:
“I want to start working out, but I’ll wait until the summer.”
Yisrael explained that while this feeling is understandable, especially with the pressures of work, family, and daily responsibilities, the danger is that people often continue pushing it off. “By the time summer comes,” he explained, “many people already start saying, ‘Let’s wait until September,’ and then after that comes another excuse. The opportunity keeps getting delayed.”
According to Yisrael, one of the biggest keys to health and fitness success is simply starting, even in a small way. “You do not need the perfect timing, perfect schedule, or perfect motivation,” he said. “The most important thing is to begin. Once you start building momentum, everything becomes easier.”
His message for this week is simple: The best time to start is today.
