Former school board member Ben Giovine- a native of Toms River who also raises his family in the community, has been chosen as the new Democratic mayoral candidate. He wrote on his Facebook page:
“Toms River is my hometown…”
“I take this step with the support of my family and friends… My campaign will be centered around the local issues that affect residents every day.”
“This will be a busy 10 weeks and I’ll work my hardest to earn every vote…”
