The latest Cash 5 drawing revealed that the winning ticket had been sold at Silverton Buyrite, located at 1922 Hooper Avenue in Toms River. The winning numbers were 07, 21, 28, 31, and 38, with the XTRA number being 02.
This player matched all five numbers and claimed a prize of $1,883,824.
Upon hearing the news, the winner quickly recalled purchasing their ticket at Silverton Buyrite. While they don’t play every day, they typically buy $20 worth of Cash 5 tickets whenever they visit the store. They don’t always check their tickets right away, sometimes waiting a couple of weeks before doing so.
During a work break, the winner decided to check a few weeks’ worth of tickets. After going through the first set without a match, they checked the next ticket and immediately recognized the winning numbers. To confirm, they pulled up the official results on their laptop and couldn’t believe what they saw.
