Many people in the Toms River community are unaware that there exists a treasure in our midst. Located in Rabbi Rotberg’s shul, K’hal Zichron Yechezkel, a thriving minyan of boys ages 9-16 gather together each Shabbos. With minimal help from adults, they run an authentic and halachically appropriate minyan, known as Minyan Sheli, each week. It is a sight to behold that brings pure nachas to any visitor. Achdus Magazine was honored to speak with R’ Aron Hiley, the individual who had the original brainstorm to form this incredible youth minyan and set it in motion.
