The Toms River community is invited to participate in a special Hachnosas Sefer Torah taking place this Sunday, 29 Sivan, June 14, commemorating the memory of beloved bachur Dovid Yitzchok Handler.
The celebration will begin with the writing of the final letters of the Sefer Torah at 3:00 PM at Yeshiva Nesiv HaTorah, located at 2040 Whitesville Road.
Following the completion of the Sefer Torah, the procession accompanied by music and dancing will depart from the yeshiva at approximately 5:00 PM and make its way to the Grand River Shul.
This special Sefer Torah was commissioned and written in memory of Dovid Yitzchok Handler. Family members, friends, talmidim, and community members are expected to join together to celebrate this meaningful event and honor his memory.
