Chief William E. Kosh announced that on Monday January 30, a team of assessors from NJSACOP, will examine all aspects of the police department of South Toms River.
As part of a voluntary process, there will be a “verification by the team that the South Toms River Police Department meets the Commission’s ‘best practice’ standards”. This accreditation is a highly prized recognition of law enforcement professional excellence.
Employees and Toms River residents are invited to provide comments to the assessment team, as part of the final on-site assessment. Comments can be made by phone or email.
