Former Toms River Councilman Terrence Turnbach announced that he has filed to run as chairman of the Ocean County Democrats . He will be running against long time chairman Wyatt Earp. His running mate is Tara Kwonacki. The pair feel that there is a unique opportunity here to strengthen the democratic party and energize followers. If they win they plan to focus on enhanced communication and organization together with all the leaders in the municipality. Currently the county is strongly republican with only Brick being run by democrats.
Turnebach is on the law firm of Starkey, Kelly, Konneally, Cunningham, and Turnbach. He is active on many municipal boards and the creator of the acclaimed Toms River Education Foundation and the Toms River Food Distribution initiatives which have helped thousands of Ocean County residents.
