Ocean county residents on Tuesday re-elected their sheriff republican Michael Mastronardy for a fourth term with 71% of the votes defeating his democrat opponent Salvatore Francino of Lakewood. Mastronardy of Toms River also serves on the national sheriff’s association board of directors and their technology and narcotics committees.
