As Daf Yomi learners around the world delve into the intricate halachos of shechita found in Maseches Chullin, Kollel Bnei Yissaschar is offering a unique opportunity to see those halachos come to life through a live sheep shechita demonstration.
The event will take place tonight, Sunday, June 21, at 6:30 PM in the Kollel Bnei Yissaschar parking lot. A reliable and experienced shochet will perform the shechita while explaining the various parts of the animal and the practical halachos involved, providing attendees with a rare firsthand look at concepts currently being studied in Daf Yomi.
To enhance visibility for the crowd, Jersey Collision has generously provided a flatbed truck that will serve as an elevated stage, allowing participants to clearly observe the demonstration.
