Toms River Election Day Coming Up on November 2nd. How Do I Vote?

The following 3 voting options are available:

Vote-by-Mail –  The Toms River drop box closest to the Route 9 / Whitesville / New Hampshire area is located at: PIC of Ocean County, 1959 Route 9. If you want a Vote-by-Mail ballot, you can request it by mail until Oct. 26th. Download the application here.

Vote early this year – You will be able to vote starting from Oct. 23 until Oct. 31 at the Ocean County Library located at 101 Washington St.  You will be able to vote from 10AM. to 8PM (10AM – 6PM on Sunday). Appointments are not required

Vote in person – You will be able to vote in person on Nov 2nd from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at: PIC of Ocean County, 1959 Route 9. (Right before Riverwood Dr.) Outside there’s a big sign that says “Ocean County’s One-Stop Career Center”

Which candidates are running and what are they running for?

Candidates are currently running for the township council. Toms River is split up into 4 wards, and one council member will be chosen from each ward.

Candidates are listed as follows:

  • Ward 1 Republican Justin Lamb vs. Democrat Michele Williams
  • Ward 2 Republican Daniel Rodrick vs. Democrat Jeff Horn
  • Ward 3 Republican James Quinlisk vs. Democrat Karin Sage
  • Ward 4 Republican David Ciccozzi vs. Democrat Terrance Turnbach
