The neighborhoods of Whitesville, Grande River, McKenzie Medjay, and Cresthill are coming together for a special evening dedicated to supporting the lifesaving work of Hatzolah of Central Jersey.

The community event will take place on Sunday, May 17 at 7:30 PM at the home of Gavriel Adamson, located at 351 Grand River Blvd. The evening will feature a kumzitz with Aryeh Rubin along with delicious food from Southside, bringing residents together in appreciation of the volunteers who respond to emergencies around the clock.

Hatzolah of Central Jersey continues to provide rapid emergency response services throughout Lakewood, Toms River, Jackson, Howell, Manchester, and Brick. In Toms River alone, Hatzolah operates numerous ambulances and paramedic vehicles, supported by more than 30 dedicated members constantly on call and ready to respond at a moment’s notice.

Community members organizing the event explained that maintaining such a high level of emergency preparedness comes with tremendous ongoing costs, including vehicles, medical equipment, maintenance, insurance, and continuous training to ensure members remain prepared for every type of emergency situation.

“We all rely on Hatzolah to answer the call any time day or night,” said Myer Kaufman, coordinator of the event, in a statement to Achdus News. “This gathering is our opportunity as a community to show appreciation to the members who give so much of themselves and to help ensure they have the resources needed to continue saving lives. Hatzolah is there for us every single day — now it’s our turn to be there for them.”

Organizers are encouraging residents from across the area to attend the event and participate in strengthening the lifesaving mission that so many local families depend on.
