The NJ gubernatorial general election is approaching fast, with polls open for early voting from October 25th to November 2nd. With election day less than one week away, on Tuesday, Nov. 4th, this is the moment to support the leadership that represents our values and priorities.
Jack Ciattarelli has been a steadfast friend to the Jewish community, voicing strong support for issues close to our hearts, such as tuition relief, property-tax reform, and infrastructure investment. As governor, Jack plans to establish an Advisory Council on Jewish Affairs, enact firm legislation to combat antisemitism, and strengthen New Jersey’s ties with Israel.
With more than twenty-five visits to Lakewood and its surrounding Jewish communities in the last four years, Jack has consistently shown how he prioritizes New Jersey’s Jews. Now it’s our turn to show that same dedication at the polls.
What does one vote matter? Ask the mere 537 Florida voters whose ballots decided the 2000 presidential race between George Bush and Al Gore. When the margin is razor-thin, it’s our community’s turnout that makes all the difference.
Choosing not to vote means choosing the other side. In this race, that means choosing Democrat Mikie Sherrill. Here’s what she stands for: she plans not to opt in to the Tuition Tax Credit provision within the “One Big Beautiful Bill,” which would effectively kill tuition relief for New Jerseyans. She called for a pause in Israel’s military operations in Gaza less than a month after October 7th, and has repeatedly raised concerns about the IDF’s conduct as Israel sought to defend its citizens from terror.
It’s up to us to make sure our voices and values are heard. The greater our turnout, the more our leaders pay attention to our needs. Let’s make sure our community is represented where it matters most.
Early voting for the New Jersey Governor’s election is open as of October 25th. Find your poll site at Vote4NJgov.com.
