The Toms River Jewish Community Center (TRJCC), recently joined forces with Mayor Mo Hill and other township officials in order to help out with the humanitarian crises happening as a result of Russia’s assault on Ukraine. They got together on March 10th to assemble and pack up crucial medical equipment, non-perishable food items, and other essentials in an orderly assembly line fashion. The boxes were loaded up onto trucks and are scheduled to be sent overseas to Ukraine over the weekend in order to help the war-besieged residents. There are unfortunately many Ukrainians who are suffering as the result of the war. The local Ukrainian community expressed gratitude to the participants of this heartwarming initiative.
