For this week’s edition of Achdus Magazine, we had the privilege of speaking with Mrs. Bayla Rivkah Abdurachmanov, a woman whose journey is nothing short of extraordinary — a story of courage, faith, and the incredible Hashgacha Pratis that guided her every step. She went from growing up with almost no exposure to Torah observance to becoming a proud shomer Torah u’mitzvos, educator, mentor, and life coach.
Today, Mrs. Abdurachmanov lives right here in Toms River — a place her family actually called home years before the wave of Lakewood residents began moving here. Looking back, she sees that as yet another piece of Divine orchestration: that even before she discovered Torah life, Hashem had already placed her right next door to one of the greatest centers of Torah in the world. What began as an ordinary move to a quiet suburban town would eventually lead to an extraordinary spiritual awakening.
Mrs. Abdurachmanov’s life now is filled with teaching, guiding, and inspiring others, but the road that brought her here was paved with courage, faith, and countless moments of Heavenly guidance. Each encounter, each challenge, and each opportunity played a part in shaping her journey. It’s a story that reminds us that when a person takes even one small step toward Hashem, He responds with open arms — leading them exactly where they’re meant to be.
