As Yom Kippur approaches, Achdus had the privilege of speaking with Rav Yechiel Meir Rosenbaum Shlita, the Rachover Rebbe, whose shul is located in Ramat Gan, just along the border of Bnei Brak.

The Rebbe comes from a distinguished Chassidic lineage with roots stretching back to the Baal Shem Tov. His family is connected to the great Chassidic dynasties of Nadvorna, Kretchnif, and Premishlan. His grandfather, Rav Yitzchok Rosenbaum, lost his family in Auschwitz; his only surviving son was Rav Eliezer Ziv Rosenbaum, the father of the current Rebbe.

Carrying forward that rich legacy of Chassidus and Avodas Hashem, the Rachover Rebbe shares words of inspiration and practical guidance for Yom Kippur with the Toms River community—how to approach teshuvah, how to make our tefillos more meaningful, and how to use this extraordinary day to strengthen our relationship with Hashem.
